Serbia's Olympic Success
A Proud History
Serbian athletes have a proud history of competing in the Olympic Games. They have participated in every Summer Olympics since 1996, and in the Winter Olympics since 2006. As part of the Serbia and Montenegro team, they achieved great success, winning medals in a variety of sports. In 2006, they won their first gold medal in the Winter Olympics, in the men's handball competition.
Paris 2024
Serbia will be competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024. They will be fielding teams in a number of sports, including basketball, handball, volleyball, and water polo. The Serbian basketball team is one of the favorites to win a medal, and they will be looking to improve on their silver medal performance from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
