Enthusiasm Grows Over New USF Stadium Rendering Featuring Student Section
Student Section to Enhance Game Day Atmosphere
The University of South Florida (USF) has released a rendering of its new stadium, which includes a dedicated student section. The new stadium is set to open in 2027 and will replace the current Raymond James Stadium. The student section will be located in the south end zone and will feature over 5,000 seats. The section will be designed to create a lively and energetic atmosphere on game days.
New Stadium to Provide Enhanced Amenities
In addition to the student section, the new stadium will also feature a number of other amenities, including:
- A new press box with state-of-the-art technology
- A club level with premium seating and amenities
- A variety of concession stands and restaurants
- A large video board in the north end zone
New Stadium to Boost University Spirit
USF President Rhea Law said that the new stadium will be "a game-changer" for the university.
"This new stadium will create a world-class atmosphere for our football team and our fans," Law said. "It will also be a symbol of our university's commitment to excellence."
The new stadium is expected to cost around $250 million and will be funded through a combination of private donations and state funding. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2024.
