Mark Vientos, Mets Minor League Prospect, Hits Two Home Runs

Mark Vientos, a top prospect in the Mets' minor league system, hit two home runs on Monday night in a game against the Harrisburg Senators. Vientos' first home run was a solo shot in the second inning, and his second was a two-run homer in the fourth inning.

Vientos is a rising star in the Mets' organization

The 22-year-old third baseman is batting .321 with 25 home runs and 90 RBIs in 102 games this season. He was selected to the All-Star Futures Game in July.

Vientos is one of the Mets' top prospects, and he is expected to make his Major League debut sometime next season.

The Mets are excited about Vientos' potential

"He's a special player," Mets general manager Billy Eppler said. "He's got a lot of power, he's got a good eye at the plate, and he's a good defender. We're very excited about his future."

Vientos' performance on Monday night is just the latest example of his potential. He is a rising star in the Mets' organization, and he is expected to be a major contributor to the team in the years to come.
