Tatum Scores 25 Points in Win Over Cleveland
Boston - Jayson Tatum scored 25 points as the Boston Celtics finished off the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series on Thursday night, advancing to the conference finals where they will face either the New York Knicks or Indiana Pacers.
The Celtics took control of the game in the second half, outscoring the Cavaliers by 15 points in the third quarter and 10 points in the fourth quarter to secure the victory. Tatum was the catalyst for Boston's offense, hitting 9-of-16 shots from the field and 5-of-8 from three-point range.
The Celtics will now await the winner of the Knicks-Pacers series, which is currently tied 2-2. Game 6 of that series is scheduled for Friday night in New York.
