Kristaps Porzingis scored 32 points and the NBA-leading Boston Celtics beat the short-handed Houston Rockets 116-113 on Saturday night. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum carried the Celtics with a combined 77 points.

The Celtics bounced back from their first home loss of the season with a win to start their three-game road trip. They improved to 37-15, while the Rockets fell to 13-39.

The Rockets were without leading scorer Jalen Green (knee) and second-leading scorer Kevin Porter Jr. (foot). Porzingis took advantage of the depleted lineup, shooting 12-of-19 from the field and 4-of-8 from three-point range.

Brown added 29 points and Tatum had 26 for the Celtics. Al Horford chipped in with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Jabari Smith Jr. led the Rockets with 22 points. KJ Martin added 20 points and Jae'Sean Tate had 19.
